Ceremonial award of certificates

This year within the project  „Women education for jobs and better future“ supported by International Women`s Club, more than 50 single mothers attended different courses and acquired useful knowledge.  Representatives of IWC joined the ceremonial award of certificates for the last group of women and shared the joy with all women who improved their knowledge and skills needed in modern economy.  Oksana Smerechuk, IWC President and Ann Pesic, IWC Board member awarded ECDL certificates for the acquired ICT skills and certificates for the completed social skills and English language courses to women. The youngest ones got New Year presents!

In total 57 women attended ICT courses, 27 women in Belgrade and 26 women from the women prison in Požarevac. 22 women received ECDL Start certificate. Participants recognized that the knowledge of English language is a requirement for many jobs. 12 women successfully completed the course of English. 12 women attended web design courses (WordPress, Photoshop and Dreamweaver).

In addition, within this project 21 women have been trained in performing different administrative tasks and work as an Administrative Assistant.
